Party Planning List
Party Planning IdeasHave you ever hosted a party that didn’t quite go the way you planned? Most of us start out with good intentions. We have all these plans in our head but no matter what we try it seems like everything goes awry. In this article we will tell you about party planning lists. Using these lists will help your planning go smoother and stress free.
First of all start planning at least 4 to 6 weeks before your party. This will give you time to relax with no rush. One of the most important things to do first is to decide if you want to use a theme for the party. The next would be to decide what day and time you want the party to be held. Then decide where you want the party to be held. Think about how you want the party to go. For example, if you want a certain amount of time for games, time to eat and so forth. If all of this is done a month before the party then you are doing great.
About three weeks before the party send out the invitations. This will give people plenty of time to plan on attending. If you wait till the last minute a lot of people will already have other plans. This is also the time to decide if you want activities at the party and what kind.
A couple weeks before the party go ahead and buy all of the supplies that you will need. These are things like paper plates, decorations and so on. At this time decide your menu and make a list for shopping. This is also a good time to ask for help at your party. Be honest with yourself and ask for assistance if you cannot handle the party all alone.
Now you’re down to just a week before the party. Time to order the cake. You can follow up with the people you have invited to see who is coming or not. If you have any food which can be frozen go ahead and fix them now.
Three days before the party prepare any party bags you may intend to use. The day before and the day of the party you can finish cooking. On the day of the party go pick up the cake. Set everything up and you are good to go.
If you follow this list it will make your party planning less stressful for sure. Do not forget to send thank you notes three days after the party to those who attended.
